ABOUT OUR EVENT
Established in 2012 by Domingo Toledo in honor of his mother, a cancer survivor, Border Fashion Week (BFW) is an annual cultural celebration in Ambos Nogales, uniting Arizona and Sonora through fashion. Featuring runway shows, exhibitions, workshops, and installations inspired by the region's landscapes and cultures, BFW highlights a bicultural fashion show with innovative designs merging American and Mexican influences. Local artists and vendors contribute to a vibrant bazaar, showcasing community craftsmanship. BFW promotes inclusivity with accessible venues and workshops on fashion design, sustainability, and cultural heritage.
Every year, a percentage of the event proceeds supports breast cancer associations, reflecting BFW's commitment to social causes. Advocating for social change and cross-border cooperation through fashion, BFW aims to enhance community unity and cultural appreciation in the border region.

VISION
Transform the border wall from a symbol of division into a catwalk of unity, where fashion, art and culture converge to break down barriers and celebrate diversity.
MISSION
Redefine the border narrative and position it as a global epicenter of innovation, creativity and inclusion, empowering local talent and connecting international voices.
OBJETIVE
Our goal is to attract international tourism to the border region while promoting cultural dialogue and cross-border collaboration. We seek to stimulate the local economy through creative industries and empower emerging designers and marginalized communities by providing a platform that supports artistic expression and social change.
